The South Kitsap junior varsity baseball team capped off a near-perfect week with a 14-0 win over Bremerton on Thursday, giving the Wolves a 3-0 mark for the week.

South also beat the Knights 14-0 earlier in the week and added a 15-2 win over Shelton to remain undefeated on the season.

Adam Douty struck out seven and gave up just two hits to get the win Thursday, as Shawn Stayton and Kyle Hawkins provided all the offense South would need, combining for six hits and four RBI while Cory Dame added two hits and knocked in three runs.

In SK’s 15-2 win over Shelton Wednesday, Tyler Sartor drove in four runs on a pair of hits and stole three bases, while Dame and Stayton combined for four hits and three RBI.

Drew Saddler and Brad Johnson struck out eight batters over the course of the game.

The junior Wolves began the week with a 14-0 win over Bremerton that saw them score 10 first-inning runs. Sartor collected three hits and three RBI while Ian Richardson and Cameron Pettay also knocked in runs. Brad Johnson and Robbie Johnson combined to allow just one hit over five innings.

• SK netters split pair of matches: Charlotte Duren and Hillary Oliver both won two singles matches this week but the South Kitsap girls’ tennis team split its matches, losing to Wilson 3-2 before topping Bremerton later in the week by the same score.

The Wolves head into spring break with a match against North Kitsap and return to face Central Kitsap, Bellarmine and Shelton.
