Global Arts Concerts presents Portugese singer Ana Moura on Sunday, Jan. 28 at 7:30 p.m. at the University of Victoria’s Farquhar Auditorium. Moura will perform with guitarist Jorge Fernando, bassist Jose Elmiro Nunes and Portuguese guitarist Custodio. The National Geographic IMAX Theatre in Victoria has extended its run of the movie The Polar Express, which includes multiple characters voiced by Tom Hanks, until Sunday, Jan. 7. The Early Music Society of the Islands presents Red Priest - Pirates of the Baroque on Saturday, Jan. 13 at 8 p.m. at the Alix Goolden Performance Hall, 907 Pandora Ave. For tickets call 386-6121 and for more information call 882-5058.

The Victoria Jazz Society presents the Nanaimo-raised Jensen Sisters and the Phil Dwyer Sextet featuring Geoffrey Keezer on Monday, Jan. 29 at 8 p.m. The show takes place at the Alix Goolden Peformance Hall, 907 Pandora Ave. Doors open at 7:30 p.m., tickets are $28 and available at McPherson box office outlets (386-6121), Lyle’s Place and through the Victoria Jazz Society office (388-4423).
