Pumas take out Marysville

The Kitsap Pumas, professional soccer team based in Bremerton, improved to 2-0 after winning an away game against the Marysville Ruckus on Sat., Dec. 8.

The Pumas won with a score of 9-2 after a slough of second half goals to open the game up late.

Adam Beach score three for the Pumas, Matt Freison and Justin Stoddard each had two goals and Scott Ford had one.

Both of Marysville's goals were scored by Victor Navarro, a former member of the Pumas.

With the win, The Pumas are tied at the top of the PASL Northwest division with the Snohomish Skyhawks. The Pumas have a positive goal differential of 15, the Skyhawks 11.

The Ruckus are tied for last place at 0-2 with a -8 goal differential.

The Kitsap Pumas are a part of the United Soccer League's Professional Development League. Their next game is at the South Sound Shock on Dec. 15 at 8 p.m.
