SK pair advancing to state

Tyler Carpenter and Timmy Myers tied for ninth place along with Olympia’s Colin Puff on Friday at the Narrows League meet at Lake Spanaway Golf Course to advance to the Class 4A state tournament beginning May 20 in the Bellingham area.

Carpenter and Myers both shot a 157. Bellarmine Prep’s Stephen Lesh was the medalist at 147.

The top 12 competitors advanced to state.

No South competitor on the girls side qualified for state.
