Top-ranked South Kitsap tops Olympic

The top-ranked and undefeated South Kitsap boys basketball team remained just that Wednesday night, rolling over Olympic 99-43.

The win moves the Wolves to 19-0 overall and 13-0 in Narrows League Bridge Division play. South, which has already wrapped up the league title, travels to Silverdale Friday to face Central Kitsap in the regular season finale. The Wolves will play Foss Feb. 19 in Bremerton in the Narrows League cross-over game. The teams will move on from there to the West Central District Tournament as the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds.

The South girls team clinched the fourth and final spot in the Bridge Division with a 62-30 win over Olympic. South, 11-8 overall and 7-6 in league, plays host to Central Kitsap Friday to close out the regular season.

The Wolves will face either Capital or Olympia Feb. 18 in Bremerton in the Narrows League cross-over game. The winner moves on to the West Central District Tournament as the No. 7 seed while the loser is done for the year.
