South Kitsap lands three on All-Bridge Division first team

South Kitsap seniors Santerra Holler and Cassie Brown and junior Kelsey Penn were named as first teamers on the Narrows League All-Bridge Division girls soccer team, which was released last week.
The Wolves claimed 10 total spots on the annual list, voted on by the eight division coaches.
Holler and Brown were captains on a South team that won the Bridge Division title with a 10-0-4 league record.
The Wolves finished off the year 13-2-4 and qualified for the Class 4A state tournament for a fifth-consecutive season. South lost in the first round, 2-1, to Jackson High out of Everett.
Brown lead the Wolves in scoring, notching 11 regular season goals along with seven assists for a total of 29 points. Penn scored six times and had five assists, while Holler, the teams best defender, scored three goals with two assists.
South Kitsap players named to the second team included senior captain Erin Carpenter, junior goalie C.J. Balstad and sophomore defender Kaileigh Westermann.
Carpenter tallied 21 points for the Wolves while Balstad had 11 shutouts and alloed just five regular season goals. Westermann, scored 13 points from her defender position.
Wolves that received honorable mentions included sophomores Kylie Balstad, Maria Jose and Ashley Polen and freshman Tori Fairweather.
