Sharrisa Pauley scored 13 points Wednesday night while Kristen Conradi added 11 but a 9-2 fourth-quarter run by Olympic handed the South Kitsap girls basketball team its sixth-straight loss as the Trojans recorded a 40-38 win.
The Wolves, 2-11 overall and 1-6 in Narrows League Bridge Division play, have now lost their last four league games by a total of 12 points and head into the second half of division play in last place.
South, which played Shelton late Friday night, plays host to Port Angeles Wednesday and Gig Harbor Friday.

South swimmers squeak by Federal Way: The South Kitsap boys swim team went 1-2-3 in diving and qualified five more places for next months district meet Tuesday in a 95-91 win over Federal Way.
Chris Hoffman, Matt Harmon and Josh Jones swept the diving portion of the meet while the Wolves got good swims by Adam Gibbons in the 100-yard butterfly, Kyle Hawkins and A.J. Melcher in the 100 freestyle and Harmon in the 100 backstroke.
South swimmers that qualified for the West Central District meet Feb. 3-4 included Caleb Moritz and Kris Bonar in the 50 free, Drew Campbell in the 100 fly and Melcher and Brandon Lester in the 100 free.
The Wolves closed out the regular season late Thursday at Shelton. Swimmers get a last chance to qualify for the district meet Thursday at the divisional meet.

Bowlers claim win over Cougars: Megan McMahon rolled a high series of 347 as the South Kitsap girls bowling team topped Central Kitsap in a pair of games Tuesday.
The Wolves outscored CK 740-669 and 803-669 to take the win in Narrows League Bridge Division action. South closes out its regular season Monday against Olympic.
Wolves C team rolls off two straight: The South Kitsap boys C basketball team won twice this week. The Wolves topped Sequim 53-25 behind 14 points from Joe Seitz and nine from Dylan Neville. South then beat North Mason Wednesday as Seitz scored 14 again while Jacob Espalin had 12 and Cody Ruston netted 10.
