• Overview: Foss has lost 22 consecutive games against South since beating the Wolves 15-14 in 1979. But that streak nearly ended during the last meeting before running back Sean Allison broke a 68-yard touchdown run with 56 seconds remaining to secure the victory. The Falcons again have a strong chance to end that streak. While Foss missed qualifying for the playoffs, it only lost against the top two teams in 3A Narrows, Timberline and Lincoln, by six points each. The Falcons also defeated the league’s other playoff team, Wilson, 14-13 on Oct. 18. Foss experienced a significant improvement in Johnson’s second season as several players returned. Meanwhile, South needs a win to avoid matching its 2010 record (3-7), which marked its fewest victories in a season since 1977.
