Former South Kitsap High School standout Tony Fein was among a half-dozen free agents signed by the Seattle Seahawks after the draft Sunday.
Fein, 26, played in 13 games — starting twice — last year for the University of Mississippi. He ranked third on the Rebels with 52 tackles, including five for loss.
The 6-foot-2, 245-pound Fein also played two seasons at Arizona's Scottsdale Community College.
A 2002 South graduate, he played quarterback for the Wolves and passed for 800 yards and six touchdowns as a senior.
In addition to Fein, Seattle also signed defensive end Michael Bennett (Texas A&M), running backs Devin Moore (Wyoming) and Tyler Roehl (North Dakota State), outside linebacker Dave Philistin (Maryland), offensive tackle Andre Ramsey (Ball State).
